How do we get started?
To get started, call me (206-919-3648) or email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) to schedule a free 30-minute phone conversation. I want to be sure we are a good fit for each other. You can tell me about yourself and ask me questions. I’ll have lots of questions for you too. I look forward to talking with you.
What do I need to bring to a first session?
The focus of our first session is your money story. I want to learn where you’ve been and where you want to go. We’ll talk about how you function with money now, and look at your big picture. Other than your payment information, you do not need to bring anything. Just come.
How often do I come in?
Usually, new clients work with me twice a month for about a year. Then they go to once a month. However, the process is unique for everyone. If we are working on both business and personal finances, we may meet more frequently, or have longer sessions. If our schedules permit, I do extra sessions with brand new clients to get us off to a strong start. I maintain long-term relationships with my clients.
How long are sessions?
Initial sessions are 2 hours. Most individual sessions last an hour. Couples’ sessions are typically 90-minutes. Occasionally, we may decide to have a longer meeting.
Where do we meet?
If you have access to the internet and are comfortable using a computer, we meet on Zoom.
I have a small business. Which should I work on, my personal finances or my small business finances?
Great question. This is an issue we will decide in our first session. We usually start with personal finances, so we know what you need to bring home from your business.
Do you work with couples?
I maintain a limited number of client couples. Call me (206-919-3648) or email me (email@example.com) to find out if I currently am taking new couples.
What are your typical client hours?
I currently have evening and weekend appointments available.
What do you charge?
My current rate is $200 per coaching hour. This includes email support. Clients pay for each session. There is no long-term contract.
Do you take insurance?
No, there is no insurance available that covers private money coaching.
Can you make other referrals?
As clients change their relationship with money, I can make referrals to financial planners, real estate, mortgage and other professionals.
